If you’re in development on a new film project, one of the first things to consider is your shooting format. Whether it’s 35mm, Super 16, or one of the many high definition video options available, the format you choose will have a tremendous impact on your budget, the look of your movie, and your options for exhibition and distribution.
Join us for an evening with the area’s most accomplished cinematographers, who will discuss the format choices they make for their own work and show examples. Guest speakers will include John Gorski, Bo Hakala, Steve Speers, Jon Springer, Jeff Stonehouse and Scott Ferril. And as an added bonus, Michael Sandness of Splice Here will be on hand to discuss how post-production is affected by your shooting format.
